Comments Slow slow slow. I hat there propritoral dialer. Hate there web site. hate there service. The have one "saving grace" There E-mail accounts make for good "Spam" accounts and you can get that for free. Otherwise Stay far away from "The Big Zero" (what I refer to Netzero as).

Why I call them "Jerklink" I used them for a week (My Ex let me use her Earthlink account she was getting rid of She got a DSL) I was so very unimpressed by it. I was so slow. Got booted a lot. (I have a fairly nice Modem in my PC too.) Is the reson I overlooked them when I was shoping for a backup ISP for my broadband. Got Basic ISP instead. If that "Demo" of it was any thing like what Earthlink users have to put up wit I'd say Skip e'm don't even conider them. Put them in the "trash" with other bad ISPs like AOL.

Very good ISP for the price. I am comming off a Comcast Cable modem. I have used dial up before (Juno, Netzero) And understand that dialup is a lot slower than broadband, Anyways I dialed on expecting a speed of anywere from 25 to 36kb/s (Like I got from Net zero,JunoorMSN,Earthlink or any other dial up ISP I have used over the years) I ran a speed test ( http://tech.msn.com/speedtest.aspx ) and was surprised to see that I was on at a 40kb/s which make it so much faster. I into bought Basic ISP as a back up Internet Service Provider and now that I am ditching the over priced cable modem. am glad I did (Instead of Juno as I was considering at the time.) I am going to recommend this to anyone who is considering AOL,Net zero or Juno as an Internet Service Provider). over all I think Basic ISP is great.
