I am on their silver plan and I agree with all the bad reviews they received. Stay away. Here are a few problems I have had with them.
1) Emergency phone support is a voicemail, saying to email them.
2) Emergency support response is between 4 to 8 hours average with my site being down.
3) Cannot contact anyone at Canaca by phone besides the accounts department who refuse to let you talk to anyone besides them.
4) Left multiple emails for the technical support manager contact me to discuss some issues. Up to now no response.
5) 99% uptime availability is more like 95%. There were other times when my website was down but I could ping their server. Occasionally, site woud be very slow with one on the site.
From dealing with Canaca, it feels like they are a fly by night company. They don't have the management and technical expertise to run a webhosting company. |
