PeoplePC provides a very finicky connection. It is slow, as well. The customer "service" is not - I signed up for a second email account online, with no indication anywhere that it would cost me extra. (After a second email address was specifically advertised.) A couple months later we realized that we were being charged $2/month more. When I inquired about it, I was told that it was because we had "upgraded" by adding the second address. Interestingly enough, it was not possible to "downgrade" on the website, and this took not only the telephone call but several emails and, finally, a letter to the Better Business Bureau to resolve. The service also does not work with Linux at all. |
