ok, localnet doesn't use their own modem drivers, you have to keep your own computer up to date. that is why the connection speed differs if you came from AOL or People PC. and thats a reason why its cheaper. And if you are getting a slow connection, check your phone lines.
For the price, its a great service. The tech support isn't farmed out to India or out of country.
You have to cancel in writing so your EX husband or whatever can't just call and cancel the connection. Its a lot of legal issues. You can put the account on HOLD then send a cancellation letter. Its not rocket science. |
