1) First, you get their cheap advertised price was only if you sign up for a year with them. Nowhere on their site had mentioned this and I was misled into thinking I was getting a really "good deal". I ended up paying considerably more.
2) The connection on their server was sporadic. My site would be down for hours at a time. By my estimates, they're down at least 80% of the time. By many reviewers' accounts, they disable your account if they deem you're using too much of their CPU resources.
3) I tried calling their 800 number to cancel my account towards the end of my contract with them but each time I was kept on hold for 15 to 30 minutes. I then sent several emails to Canaca requesting that my account be cancelled because I no longer need their services. They did not respond. When it came time for the end of the 3-month contract, they billed my credit card for another 3 months. I had to call my credit card company to let them know that it was an unauthorized charge. The credit card company told me I have to fill out some chargeback paperwork due to arrive in 5-7 days in the mail.
Instead of succumbing to their seeming tempting deals, I should have listened to innumerable reviewers labeling Canaca as a shady establishment. Take heed and steer clear of Canaca. Don't be enticed by their prices to take the plunge. Save yourself some grief and look somewhere else - you have been forewarned. Google some and you'll find a wealth of negative reviews on by people who were burned by their shady practices.
