Great service. Very good value for the price. I saw the reviews saying things about "limited hours". Turns out you'd have to have your computer connected like 10 hours a day for two or three weeks straight before they would say anything. If you're dialed up for that long, I wouldn't blame them for dropping you! Great customer service too- you can talk to someone in the US, which is refreshing. I get no disconnects (although disconnects are usually due to cruddy phone lines, not the ISP), and the connections are pretty speedy. I see they have DSL now, so I'm probably going to look into that soon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Beware of the "limited hour usage", it did not state this in their "pricing & packaging link", I accidently found the "hourly limited usage & at their discretion" in their "TOS". (terms of service) I'm a new member with toast & on a "trial promotion" period & my account was "voided" because I exceeded their hours in the usage. (in the terms of service) even though my credit card was billed for the promotional period. In their TOS, toast stated they would e-mail anybody that was exceeding the hours, they did not e-mail me & Ive been trying for 90 minutes to figure out why I couldn't connect. Finally, I called toast & the support dept told me that my account was "voided" because of excessive usage, I had no idea it was toast.net. When I called, they changed my user name & re-activated my account. The tech support told me I needed to upgrade to the "unlimited plan" for $19.95 a month. 200+ hours. Just beware of the fine print & the "limited hour usage". (at their discretion)(tos link)

Ive had netscape & peoplepc & now toast.net on a trial promotion & out of the three, I like toast the best. Tech support is excellent & my only complaint with toast, is I do not like their "web mail". Many times on a forward with html, you cannot open the attachments, if they are there on the forward. (many times missing)
Limited hours & their web mail is my only complaints, other than that, they easily surpass the others. (peoplepc, netscape)

Used this service for only one week when I was called from Ohio and asked if I was having any problems. This floored me as all the previous ISP's I have used take my money and basically forget about me. They provided poor service and no customer support at all. Toast not only works well but will provide the international service I will need when I travel to the Southern US next winter. Keep up the good work Toast you have revived my faith in customer service. Canadian Snowbird

I used AOL for two years and had nothing but trouble with them, so I switched to Netzero, which dropped my connection during downloads over 20 minutes; bummer. So I switched again to Toast.net after reading reviews. The result on a scale of one to ten: AOL 1, NetZero 2 and Toast.net 10! Toast has a great service which AOL and Netzero could learn from.
With the Toast Accelerator my dial up speeds are super fast and the customer service is great. I could not want a better service.

This is a GREAT Internet Service Provider. Price for internet including accelerator is very, very reasonable. The speed is the best I have seen thus far. Does not block or freeze as others have. The customer support is fast, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Could not want more than this. I highly recommend Toast.net.
